1900 Kanji! 十九百漢字!

Doing my video blogging and really getting back into my study of Japanese has helped me to keep pushing towards the enviable goal of going through the list of 2,040 Kanji that the Japanese government requires people to know for basic literacy. It’s taken me quite some time with all my ups and downs to reach this point, but I am only 140 Kanji away from finishing! My next video I think will speak about “Japanese A to Z” which gives a kind of run down of how people seem to learn the language in a rough step by step form. Then i’ll chat about the Heisig method and some of my observations thus far in terms of how I use this to filter through regular Japanese. Either way it’s been a tough journey and I hope to see it through!
