I’ve hit 800 Kanji and i’m starting to feel the buzz. Doing this is pretty intense, especially if you want to finish quickly. I’m realizing through my SRS reviews that you must ENSURE that your stories are solid or you’ll be caught with you rpants down come review time.
Personal, I agree with Heisig when he said take up to 5 minutes to learn certain stories to make sure the story is solid in you rhead. I average about 2 minutes per story, and sometimes when I want to go faster, I take less time, but it hurts me in the end. Even though I’m at 800 now, I’m still working on motivation. The end is still a ways away and this stuff isn’t easy, but the end goal is what keep me going.
